My approach to therapy is holistic and fluid and is based in the theory of attachment. I utilize a combination of intuition and improvisation to facilitate healing, self-acceptance and self-expression. Each session is completely unique and may include any of the following: working with symbols/images/voices/nuances that emerge in the mind’s eye, experiential exercises that include relaxation, guided imagery, projective dreamwork, tuning into the body somatically, and directly addressing what emerges “in the moment”.
My area of special interest is helping individuals whose experiences fall outside of the cultural norm, i.e. hearing voices, seeing visions/entities, lucid dreaming, and unexplained knowing, among others. I believe that these creative mechanisms are organic, relevant, and serve to balance out the individual. When these expressions are collaboratively examined in a gentle and non-judgemental manner, the possibilities for the individual are endless.
Whether you sense events before they happen, see the walking dead, or have continual experiences that you find difficult to accept and talk about due to shame, you have come to the right place.
